DON
SHIREY is
an actor, producer and director. On film he has appeared in regional and
national television and films, most recently opposite Armand Assante in
“Surveillance” and in John
Lavachielli’s “Wednesday Again.” Selected theatre roles include
Casca in “Julius Caesar,” Creon in “Antigone” with Karen Sunde and
James Tyrone in “Moon for the Misbegotten.”
As
a director, Don’s work has been chosen for KC/ACTF as an alternate
production for “Lydie Breeze” and “Night of the Tribades.”
Don has also worked with his wife Anne, as the Artistic Director of
the Bullshed Theatre Project, producing and directing such works as
“Auschwitz Lullaby,” “Fool for Love” and Paul Austin’s
“Artificial Light.” Don also served as producer for V-Day OKC 2003 and
2004 as well as directing the “Trail of Tears” outdoor historical
drama for the Cherokee Nation. Don is a member of AEA. SAG and AFTRA. On
weekends, you can find him polishing his balls on many of
L.A.
’s golf courses.
