Rittenhouse has appeared in many musicals, her favorite roles being MEG in
Damn Yankees
at Glendale Centre Theatre, Candelelight Pavillion and The Music
Theatre of Southern California where she received a Dramalogue Award; Meet
Me in St. Louis (Mrs Anna Smith) in 7 different
venues from California to Kansas; Golde in Fiddler
on the Roof at Glendale Music Theatare, Glendale Centre Theatre and
the Candlelight Pavillion; Mamita in Gigi
at Music Theatre West; Glinda in The
Wizard of Oz with California Music Theatre and The Music Theatre of
Southern California; Mrs. Pearce in My
Fair Lady at the Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities and at California Music Theatre with Noel Harrison in the role of Henry
Higgins.
She’s recently added nonmusical roles to her resume including Martha in Arsenic
and Old Lace at the Glendale Center Theatre. Her TV and film credits
include a co-star role on Arrested
Development and film appearances in Slumlord,
Aces, Clash and First Period as Principal Fisher. She has also appeared in numerous
national commercials.
